Back in October I did old age makeup for a TV pilot. The actor I was working on, Antonio Vizcarrondo, looks like he is in his mid 20s and I needed to make him look like he was in his mid 50s. I had so much fun creating this look, which included a fake mustache.
Antonio was so much fun to work with. He was great company throughout the long process and kept a smile through all of the latex and adhesive application. Such a pro!
I recently did makeup and hair for a shoot in a studio with only a bright colored background. Our plan was to shoot outdoors, but due to rainy weather we jumped last minute into the studio. What makes photoshoots, with little props and background noise, exciting is it leaves room to be more creative with the models poses and posture.
We quickly adored the flexibility of the model to lay on the floor, move in weird positions, jump around and test out different ideas. Photos from the shoot I worked on above.
I've always been drawn to images with a sharp contrast in shadow and light.
These product photos use lighting in a creative way of mastering texture, depth and details through shadows.
Using lighting in this way develops basic product photography into beautiful imagery.
